How do you address social isolation in virtual format?

We don't run GT Anywhere as a solo online school. Students are placed in daily 12–15 student cohorts and come together every quarter for 48-hour Georgetown Intensives, built explicitly so virtual learning doesn't mean isolation.

Can we use the Texas ESA?

Yes. The $10,474 TEFA voucher fully covers the $10,400 GT Anywhere tuition.

Is it just more screen time?

No. Morning work is Active Mastery, and afternoons are Active Creation – building, debating, and sketching. Screen time is used exclusively as a tool for production, not consumption.

What if my child doesn't hit the 140 XP target?

They drop into 'Pirate Ship' office hours. An Academic Advisor steps in to 'debug' the roadblock live. We treat these as learning opportunities, not failures.

How do you prevent academic rushing?

Our Timeback platform requires 90% mastery, which is a high bar for ineffective shortcuts. You cannot move forward until you prove you know the current concept. There is no failing forward.

Is GT Anywhere a full-time school?

Yes. We are fully accredited by Cognia and TEFA-eligible.

How do I know if this is a good fit for my child?

Students enter 60-90 minute deep-dive sessions in the Sciences, Humanities, or Competition tracks to collaborate with their peers and build authentic achievements.

If a student misses their daily XP target or hits a cognitive block, they don't fall behind. They drop into "Pirate Ship" sessions held twice a week where they co-work with an Academic Advisor to get back on track. Pirate ship refers to a small team that moves fast, is not held back by bureaucracy, and builds something new in contrast to large navy institutions with rules, committees, and slow decision cycles.
