Refund Policy
Last Updated: April 2026
45-Day Risk-Free Guarantee
You may cancel for any reason within the first 45 calendar days of enrollment and receive a full refund of subscription fees paid, and any remaining commitment obligations are cancelled. No diagnostics, assessments, or platform usage required.
This guarantee does not apply to students who have previously redeemed the 45-Day Risk-Free Guarantee.
Growth Guarantee
We commit to helping your student achieve at least 3X the National Average Annual Growth, as reported by NWEA, on NWEA MAP Growth assessments in:
- Math
- Reading
- Language
- Science*
* If the student is rostered based on student age and academic requirements.
K-2 Adjustment: For students in grades K-2, the growth target is 2X the National Average Annual Growth rather than 3X, reflecting the developmentally appropriate pacing of foundational skill acquisition. All other terms of the Growth Guarantee (remedies, measurement, eligibility) apply identically. Beginning in 3rd grade, the 3X target applies.
Growth is measured using NWEA MAP assessments, administered through our TimeBack platform three times per year (fall, winter, and spring).
What Happens If the Growth Guarantee Isn’t Met?
If your student doesn’t hit the growth target, the following options are available:
50% Monthly Tuition Credit
You are eligible for a credit equal to 50% of one month’s tuition, applied toward future GT Anywhere tuition, if your student’s average Growth Factor across all subjects is less than the applicable Growth Factor target (3X for grades 3+, 2X for grades K-2), as demonstrated by the results of the most recent MAP assessment for the most recent term interval. Credits have no cash value and are non-transferable.
Refund
You are eligible for a refund if both of the following conditions are met:
- Your student’s average Growth Factor across all subjects is less than 1X the National Average Annual Growth as demonstrated by the results of the most recent MAP assessment; and
- Your student has completed at least 80% of assigned Essential Skills during the applicable period.
In such a situation, you may terminate your student’s enrollment in GT Anywhere and request a refund for amounts paid for the applicable Term Interval or Annual Interval. Any remaining commitment obligations shall be cancelled.
For the purposes of determining a tuition credit or refund, each Interval is evaluated independently. Performance results from one Interval do not modify, extend, or override remedies associated with any other Interval.
Additional Details
Enrollment Requirement. Your student must be enrolled for the entire Interval and receive a growth score in each eligible subject to qualify for any tuition credit or refund.
Academic Integrity. The Growth Guarantee assumes good-faith student engagement with assigned coursework. If a student is placed in proctored sessions as a result of the academic integrity process described in the GT Anywhere Academic Behavior Policy, the 3X (or 2X, as applicable) growth target does not apply for the Interval(s) during which proctoring was in place. Families will be notified in writing when proctoring begins and when the growth target is adjusted.
Curriculum Completion. If a student completes all available curriculum through Grade 12 within the TimeBack platform prior to the end of their then-current enrollment term, the family may terminate enrollment and request a prorated refund for the unused portion of the term remaining after the date of completion. “Completion” means the student has satisfied all Essential Skills and coursework available through Grade 12, as determined by GT Anywhere. Any remaining commitment obligations shall be cancelled upon such termination.
Testing Conditions. Growth guarantees apply only when MAP assessments are administered under proper conditions following NWEA guidelines.
Refund Requests. Refund requests must be made no later than 14 days from the date results are published, or such longer period as may be required by applicable law.
Less Reward Value. The fair market value of any incentives earned will be deducted from any refunds due.
Reimbursement of TEFA Funds. The guarantees described here may not apply to purchases made with Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA) funds. Any refunds of public funds will be returned directly to the Texas Education Freedom Account program administrator in accordance with applicable state law.
Guarantee Modifications. GT Anywhere may update this guarantee upon written notice. Any changes will not affect students enrolled prior to the date of such notice for the remainder of their then-current enrollment term.
Subject Eligibility. The Growth Guarantee applies only to subjects in which the student was rostered at both assessments bracketing the Interval. Subjects added mid-Interval become eligible beginning with the first full Interval in which they appear at both endpoints.
Consistently Low Growth. If your student scores below 1.0X overall on three consecutive MAP assessments, GT Anywhere, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to begin the offboarding process, issue a 12-month refund, and terminate the applicable student account.
Conflicts. If anything in this guarantee conflicts with our Terms of Use, the terms of this guarantee shall control.
